Dixon Family Farm Pumpkin Festival:
On October 25th from 12 pm to 5 pm, the Dixon Family Farm will be hosting the local Pumpkin Festival! From the Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Patch, to the live music, activity workshops, and the Pumpkin Decorating Contest, there’s something for everyone! Come and enjoy a cozy weekend with hayrides, delicious food, and fall season splendor!
59th Annual U.S. Oyster Festival:
On October 18th from 10 am to 6 pm and 19th from 11 am to 6 pm , St. Mary’s County will be hosting the Annual U.S. Oyster Festival! Enjoy artisan vendors, live music, tasty oysters, and most importantly, the Oyster Shucking Competition! Be one of the thousands that come to enjoy this festive celebration!
Monster Mash Bash:
On October 19th from 1 pm to 4 pm, the Monster Mash Bash will be held at Leonardtown Wharf! The fantastical, festive night will bring activities for all, delicious treats and food for the whole family, and entertainment galore! Wear your best spooky costume and come celebrate the Halloween season!
Local Farm Activities:
Visit all the local St. Mary’s Farms for tons of fun all around! Pick a pumpkin and decorate it as you’d like at Bowels Farms or Forrest Family Farm, get a festive fall hayride at Serenity Farms and Forrest Family Farm, and enjoy the elaborate corn maze at Bowels Farms, Forrest Family Farm, and Spider Farm!
Halloween:
Of course we can’t forget; on October 31st all day long, it’s Halloween! For children and adults alike, there’s always something to get up to. Whether you visit a haunted house, go trick-or-treating, head to a party, wear your best costume, or spend a cozy night at home doing a movie marathon, be sure to have the best night you can!
