    Happy Feet Two

Like penguins? Better yet dancing, singing penguins? If so, Happy Feet Two is the movie for you!!

In the first Happy Feet, the main penguin, Mumble (Elijah Wood) can’t sing. But he can dance. He changes his home forever introducing the art of dance.

Now in the sequel, Mumble is well known as ‘Master of Tap’. He has a wife and a young son named Erik. But Mumble faces a problem. Erik doesn’t feel any need to dance. After an accident, Erik runs from home, and ends up in a different clan and meets the mysterious flying penguin, the Mighty Sven (Hank Azaria). Mumble can’t compete with the Mighty Sven, who has become his son’s role model. But when disaster strikes, Mumble must reconnect with his son and some unlikely allies, to save his home.

Some who didn’t like the first Happy Feet, might like the Happy Feet Two better. There is a better plot and a little more going on. I interviewed sophomore Jed Law who thought that it was, “A very enjoyable movie, very funny, and great for all ages!” I can agree; unless you don’t like penguins that is.  Now like all movies, this movie won’t be liked by everyone. I think this movie was great; there was great musical numbers, great story line, and a great plot resolution at the end. I think anyone who likes penguins or liked the first Happy Feet should see this movie.
