    LHS Boys Soccer Crushes Chopticon

It’s always fun going to a School sporting event, from the screaming fans to the fear of getting hit by a flying ball. The best thing though is when the team wins. Leonardtown started slow but a good defense and goalie stopped Chopticon from getting any goals. Then by a miracle the first goal was made by LHS this was quickly matched by a goal from Chopticon. The first half ended with a tie of one to one. Soon halftime ended and the second half begun. The fan on the home side cheered down to the team. This paid off because the tie was quickly broken by an amazing goal that no one expected. The Chopticon team refused to give up and fought back but soon realized they were no match for Leonardtown when another goal was made. Chopticon tried with all of their might but the clock ended with Leonardtown three Chopticon one. The fans cheered at the amazing spectacle their team had shown. “I was overwhelmed by the intensity” said sophomore student Jordan Martin. Leonardtown Boys soccer is definitely a team to follow.
