The Super Bowl is known to have the best commercials. Companies will do whatever it takes to have their commercial in the Super Bowl, including paying 7 million dollars for a 30-second commercial. Some people, like me, are only watching the Super Bowl for the commercials. But if you missed some of the commercials to get up and go to the bathroom, or get your favorite Super Bowl snack, don’t worry because this article is going to go over our Raider’s favorite Super Bowl commercials from this year.

Mr. David’s senior English class reviewed the Super Bowl commercials. Here’s what some of them had to say.
Reese’s CommercialHan Zheng said that the Reeses commercial was because they enjoyed “the people in the ad doing weird things like smashing their head into the wall, jumping out of the window and breaking a table all over a peanut butter cup. In the commercial the narrator starts to say that “ We are making a big change to Reese’s cups” and then all these people in this living room start to react and get angry. Like Han Zheng said “smashing their head into the wall, jumping out of a window, and breaking a table.” But then the narrator goes on to say “We are adding a delicious layer of caramel”

Volkswagen Commercial
Another one of Mr. David’s students, Sydney Harmening said that their favorite commercial was the Volkswagen commercial. It was their favorite because “It is my dream car… I feel connected to this car emotionally. Also, I want the original version of this car because it’s classic.” In this commercial they told the story of the classic Volkswagen beetle. The commercial narrator said “ Did you ever hear about a frog that dreamed of being a king, and then became one… the story is the same.” It then goes on to tell the story and the evolution of the Volkswagen beetle and Volkswagen in general. It starts out with the beetle coming over to America and growing more and more in popularity, and then becoming what Volkswagen was today.

Temu Commercial
The commercial that stole the show! It practically aired every commercial break. This commercial was Bryan Moreno’s (sophomore) favorite commercial. He said it was his favorite because “ It was a commercial I did not expect to be in the super bowl.” This commercial featured a catchy tune that expressed how easy it was to purchase very cheap items off of Temu and “shop like a billionaire.” It also had an animation showing some of the items you could buy and what you could do with these items.

Paramount + Commercial
This commercial was Cadence Redmond’s (Junior) favorite commercial. She said it was her favorite commercial because “it had lots of nostalgic characters from my childhood… and the main reason I liked it was because of Peppa Pig!” In this commercial they tell a story with some classic paramount characters. They are stuck at the bottoms of paramountain and to get to the top so they do whatever it takes to get there even with some controversy.
