What Are You Thankful For?

What Are You Thankful For?

Regan Walker, Junior Staff Writer

Thanksgiving is almost here, and most of our students are looking forward to seeing family and friends come over to their home for dinner, “in most houses, just as everyone is sitting down around the table, the question is often posed: “what are you most thankful for this year?” just before dinner everybody around the dinner table asking what are you thankful for? When you got asked what are you thankful for? You try to figure it out what you are thankful for? If you’re in need of some inspiration, here’s a few ideas of what you might be most appreciative of in your life.

  • I am thankful for a great family- because they support you in what you did or do in life, no matter if you need a call on the phone to cheer you up or maybe a hug or even a smile.
  • I am thankful for having a great life- In life you have good days or bad days, through the ups and downs, life is just a roller coaster.
  • I am thankful for having blessings every day-  no matter if you are religious or not I am thankful for prayer and believing in our lord.
  • I am thankful for having friends that are always there by my side- because friends are special to each of every one, they are the people who want to talk to you all the time if things are going not the way you  plan.
  • I am thankful for a great home to live in- A home is a structure that it build from soil to its roof and inside the house you see memories scattering across the wall when you are entering in from the first time you moved into first thanksgiving or Christmas or any memory you can think of.
  • I am thankful for having a chance to learn – because education is very important to each of every single one of us. Education is not just getting in college or getting a job because it’s all about learning new things wherever you go.

There are so many things for each and every one of us to be thankful for, so when you’re asked – what are you thankful for? Just remember that it doesn’t really matter what it is- just be thankful for what you have, for the people you loved and even for your future and life.

So from me to you, Happy Thanksgiving.
