Heads up Raiders, daylight savings is approaching! While many people aren’t big fans, shifting the time forward one hour in March and back an hour in November has its benefits. Studies show that after the fall change, roads are approximately 8% safer than average due to the extra hour of sleep. The change has also proven to save energy which aids in lessening pollution. Studies have also shown a reduction in crime rates during daylight saving time. This year the time will be set back one hour on November 7th. Don’t forget to reset your alarms and enjoy your extra sleep!
